NEW RIDES on-site app installment. did it for both their samsung android tablets. Then it kind of turned into a mini training session. Only stayed for a couple hours.
They have a unique setup. They used to work with the local transit authority but have no split ways. So now their RTA does all the individual ride requests, scheduling, dispatching, etc on their own. And Shrewsbury Senior Center have 2 (white) vans. It's their own vehicles and they want to use MSC to begin tracking rides for their "trips" (lots of multi-passenger rides). They have the demo video and tutorials. And today I sat with Casey, Cynthia, and Pat and went over the MSC rides section more in detail too. I showed them how to do multi-passenger rides and walked through the rest.
Their tablets are all setup with google maps and MSC Rides app saved to the home screen. Location sharing is also on. Only thing is the screen timeout is set to 10mins. There was no NEVER option. I told Casey to ask their IT to download another app to prevent the timeout if needed. They want to go live using MSC rides for Dec and can play around now in the meantime.

NEW RIDES training for all staff. Did a demo a couple weeks ago with Eric and today I did a full training on everything a little slower with all their staff. They seem interested but not totally sure they felt comfortable. We went through the "New Rides!" area stuff, not timeline layout yet. I also showed them the Driver's App.
I told them to start testing asap and explained reports would be coming soon. We did record the session and I showed them the traininghub link to access it. Bryan emailing Cynthia the driver app installation instructions. Bryan messaged Eric to find out when we are shipping them an iPad for testing the app. Martin, one of their full time drivers may download the app on his smartphone for now.

New Rides Demo. They will be our new beta testers. Not working with WRTA right now but they have two vehicles. Cynthia will be practicing soon to learn the new system. She knows she can reach out as well. Eric working on getting them tablets (ipads 10 gen) for driver's app
